Shauna Baranik

Instructional Designer

Shauna has worked as an instructional designer with the World Campus since 2013. She has been a designer on many programs, such as Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering and Education, and was the lead designer on the Human Resources and Employee Relations and Organizational Leadership programs.

In 2019, Shauna stepped away from World Campus to work as an instructional developer on the SIMBA financial system project. While there, she was part of the Organizational Change Management group and a member of the training team. After the project went live University-wide in July of 2020, Shauna shifted her focus on from training to sustaining the training materials until project completion in July 2021.

Now back at World Campus, Shauna has a variety of responsibilities, such as co-designing courses in the Bachelor of Science in Business program, completing QM reviews, and researching new technologies to enhance learners’ experience.

Shauna is married to husband Ryan, and she’s momma to two rambunctious kids, Makenzie and Camden. In her free time, she loves Penn State football, reading, and all things Disney!
