John Alexander

John Alexander is a newly hired instructional production specialist at World Campus Learning Design. He comes to this new role with previous experience as a World Campus student, a lead teaching assistant, and a course instructor in both in-person and online settings.

He earned an masters degree from Penn State in curriculum design and instruction with an emphasis in STEM education and also has a bachelors in criminal justice, a certification in information technology, and was a classroom teacher in the State College and Bellefonte areas for kindergarten through 8th grade for 12 years. He was also one State College Magazine's 2017 Teachers of the Year.

John is a married father of two college-aged daughters. In his free time, he enjoys the hobby of 3D printing, playing tabletop games, and reading books along the rivers and streams where his wife is fly-fishing.
